Radisson SAS Hotel, Stansted
A 500-bedroom, four-star Radisson SAS hotel is being constructed at Stansted Airport. With a large proportion of the block work below ground level, systems that would provide fast-track construction without sacrificing quality were of paramount importance.
Bansal Building (London) Ltd, together with main contractor Skanska, chose CPI’s remote mortar mixing station as the solution to the time and space restrictions. It contains factory-produced pre-mixed dry mortar for fast and efficient site production at the touch of a button.
The system produces guaranteed mix proportions ensuring correct colour and consistency. Site wastage is also kept to a minimum as only the amount of mortar required needs to be produced.
