Guild Of Bricklayers 2018
Further Regional Heats Completed

Two further heats of the Guild of Bricklayers national competition have now been completed.

Senior section winner at the Northern heat, held at the Hartlepool College of Further Education, was Alex Rioch of Bishop Auckland College. Lee Nichol of Durham New College took the junior prize.

In the Southern heat at Highbury College, Portsmouth, Travis Pay of Highbury College took the senior section prize while Aaron Dempsey, Farehasm College, took the junior category.

Premier Mortars supplied the mortar for the Northern competition and CPI the Southern, both on behalf of national sponsors, the Mortar Industry Association.

Heat winners go forward to the finals of the competition to be held at Brooklands College, Weybridge, at the end of June.
